Yes! When we were buying the LG wash mcaihne, the salesman told us that it would vibrate. We put ours on the second floor (we live in an old house and have a bathroom the size of a small bedroom and no functional basement or room on the first floor). I find the washer to be so much better than a top loader and have become accustomed to the vibrating. A 1 inch rubber mat underneath may help dampen the vibrations (mat available at plumbing supply or home supply store) but it is something that comes with all of the high efficiency front loading washers (my husband does home remodeling and that's what he said about them since he's put them in many homes). The more uneven the load, the worse the vibrating can be but, to me, it is not awful enough to overcome the good and beneficial points... — Nava
